Define Banarasi Sarees

A Banarasi saree is a saree made in Varanasi, a city which is furthermore called Benaresi or Banaras. The sarees are among the finest sarees in India and are known for their gold and silver brocade or zari, fine silk and rich weaving. Banarasi sarees are made of finely woven silk and are enhanced with mind boggling plan, and, because of these engravings, are for the most part considerable. 




Their uncommon properties are Mughal moved diagrams, for instance, baffling lacing herbal and foliate topics, kalga and bel, a string of upright leaves called jhallar at the outside, edge of edge is a typical for these sarees. Distinctive components are gold work, limited weaving, figures with minimal unobtrusive components, metallic visual effects, pallus, jal (a net like illustration), and mina work.
